![]() ![]() I have always worn makeup, but not blush. I have to thank Ulta Beauty (store) a makeup Representative there introduced me to this blush, and as she applied it, I was shocked at how it made me appear brighter and so attractive. ![]() All of us look amazing with this Becca "Songbird" blush. I'm a (chemical) blonde with light skin and dark brown eyes, and my two daughters are brunette with brown eyes. That truly is the trick to beautiful results of evenly distributed blush. ![]() And then, I go back and blend in each of those areas of blush (using a continuous circular motion) until all the blush is completely distributed evenly and beautifully. Then, I gently TAP a "very-light touch" of the brush in one spot on the "side" of each cheek (don't blend it in YET!), and then (WITHOUT re-dipping the brush into the compact), lightly TAP the brush onto the forehead "in 3 different places" and then, tap the brush onto the bridge of the nose. And then, tap the base (handle) of the brush (about three or four times) onto something, (such as the counter top or your other hand) to prevent all of the blush from staying on the tip of the brush. When applying a BLUSH with a brush (especially this Becca blush, which is so rich in color), it's imperative to "VERY LIGHTLY TAP" (barely touch) a SMALL BRUSH into the blush compact (don't use a large brush or one that has bristles that are flat across the tip!). The trick of the trade is this: This blush needs to be applied on top of a powder foundation (such as PUR 4-in-1 Mineral foundation). I recalled reading the reviews on this product, and paid close attention to the amount of blush applied. This is such a pretty shade of blush, and definitely needs to be applied with caution due to the potency of its color. ![]()
